We want to share with the forum readers the results we got after our M2 Pro Max ROV deployment for an underwater photogrammetry 3D modeling project. We have tested the Cashing M2 Pro Max photogrammetry capabilities in various conditions and underwater applications, today we share with the forum, for evaluation and discussion, the result of a 3D model of an airplane wreck (type Piper PA-28-181 Warrior II) we have constructed after photogrammetric processing of approx. 5,000 UHD photographs ( 8 MP each) extracted from the wreck video inspection recordings captured from the 4K video camera of the M2 Pro Max ROV. The M2 Pro Max has proven to be a valuable asset in successfully completing this project.
We have uploaded this video showcasing a flythrough animation around the 3D model of the wreck. The video has been downscaled (from 4K to below 1080p) for uploading on the forum server, so the actual detail of the model
cannot be fully seen. For those who want to know some of the details regarding the M2 Pro Max the ROV setup for this specific photogrammetric task we will upload additional postings with more informative , Thank you for attending this topic and we invite comments and questions from the forum users and from Chasing of course on this photogrammetry with M2 Pro Max topic.
