Problems with self drifting ..

Hi all .

I hope someone with a bit of experience or maybe someone who has had the same issues I do can help ?

I can’t get this damn drone to just lay still in the water, and not moving while NOT pushing any of the controls..

right now it constantly drifts in an backward motion? Tried all the Calibrations ,and even my New spare control .. it still drifts ??

Anyone ??

I am very new to the underwater drones however I had a similar experience. What I found was that I was losing my connection with my cell phone and the drone seemed to have a mind of its own. I found that if I followed the instructions in exactly the order described in connecting and powering up the drone the issue seemed to go away. I haven’t been able to spend much time exploring this further, but you might give it a try.

Thanx Jay. Basically what you’re saying is ,you did calibrations first , right ?

Then power off , and start up again ?

Hi . Just got back from a job , so I have not had a chance to test until today . And it still doing it ?

As soon as I pop it in the water, and turn on the controller, it “ Gets a life of its own “ ?

Very frustrating.. any suggestions?

SonnyFlink Please calibrate, if you don’t turn on in the water, when the machine is not in a horizontal state, the motor will work, when the machine is in a horizontal state, it will work slightly, or even not work, this is a normal phenomenon. This is because the system is designed so that the machine is always level in the water.

I am calibrating on land ( no way I’m getting in to this ice freezing water in Sweden in Okt 😂) Then I’m restarting , and throw the thing in the drinks .. I do get that the machine needs to be told what’s level or not .. Question : I did however do the calibration on the Jetty , does it need to be perfectly flat ( level ) for the calibration to be correct? (
